Merry meet everyone, I have been asked to talk about the plant Gotu Kola from one of my fellow readers and when I was researching this plant I never realised how amazing this one plant could be. Its one that I will be using in the future because of one of the magical properties this plant has. That being said this plant does have many great magical properties including: - Meditation - Memory - Balance - Fertility - Concentration - Stamina - Control Now if you have been following my blog for over a year now you would know that I have been having problems on the side of fertility, so when I found out this plant could help because of the magical properties I was over the moon. I haven't used it yet but I will be looking into this side of things more because its one I am trying to get magical help for as well as medical. Gotu Kola is a great herb that can help aid mediation, in a way to clear the mind and helps you to concentrate on what you want to focus on. I have read that some witches burns some of this plant on a charcoal disc just before meditation to help get their mind ready before they do meditate. Now this herb in many references has been called the great elixir of life. This is believed because its widely used in spell workings to increase longevity and can also improve sexual stamina. Many witches have used this for sex magic and tantric sex. Now this herb is very popular for elephants and has become famous to the link of elephants having great long term memories. Thats because this herb helps with memory keeping and is also used within memory spell workings. Now this post is very short because I couldn't find much about the magical side of this herb but that wont stop be continuing my research on this herb. I will most likely do an updated post about this herb when I do collect more information. I hope you learn something new in this post and that you enjoy my blog so far. If you want to help me with future topics for the blog than join the community either on Facebook or Instagram under the name @PaganVibesOnly. Merry meet everyone, Today I have another great post about another great flower you can use within your magical workings. Now my nan has theses in her garden which is really handy for me when I run out of theses flowers! That being said I have decided that a post about this amazing flower is well needed and that you could all use this information for your future workings. This is because this flower has so many great magical uses that you should really have some in your collection. Magical properties included: - Love, - Money, - Prophetic dreams - Spiritual Guidance, - Earth magic, - Sun magic, See these flowers are really helpful and handy to have if you work with earth or sun magic. I personally use these flowers for spiritual guidance and for money wish bottles. But thats not the only handy uses this flower has and thats why I am here to share all theses helpful uses with you all. Jasmine flowers are commonly used in love spells and can be included in charm bags and potions for this purpose. You can place this flower in a fabric bag with some rose petals and dangle the bag in the water of your shower or around the tap of your bath for a calming and relaxing loving bath or shower. I personally if you do use this with a shower get a big enough bag to be able to have it wrapped around your shower head. It works so much better. Jasmine can be used to draw in and bring wealth and prosperity to the person who wears or burns this as incense. The vibrant yellow colour of this flower is often used to honour the sun in rituals and bring forth the power into your magical workings as a blessing. Theses flowers can also be burned to help cause prophetic dreams and if jasmine is infused in oils then they are really handy to be used within sleeping potions and sprays. Many witches also include jasmine in sleep pillows because of this great effect. This flower is also connected with the moon so if you wish to honour the moon in some aspect then using this herb can also help boost this. I hope you found today's post helpful and really interesting to read. As always you can follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly. I post daily about packages I receive and bits I do away from the blog. I also speak more about other aspects of my life on there so if you want to keep update follow me there. I hope to see you all in the next post and please everyone stay safe, its a crazy world we live in at the moment. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So today I will be talking to you all about the flower Heather. Now my Nan grows theses flowers in her garden and I didn't realise now amazing theses flowers were until I got a pot of them in a past box. Since then I have been looking into ways to use this flower within my craft and I thought it would be handy to share some information with you lovely people. Now you can get heather flowers from many garden shops and you can also get them dyed. I try to stay away from the dyed heather because you can't really use that within your craft because its been dyed different colours. Now I thought it was really interesting that heather has the magical properties of: - Love - Healing - Water - Lust - Luck - Weather magic - Fertility - Protection - Sensuality - Conjuring Spirits - Balance - Spiritual guidance Now if you use water magic within your craft then this is the flower you should use because the element for this flower is water and is really useful while doing water magic or even weather magic. This flower heather has been known as the flower of passion and is suited to love magic of any kind. Which means this flower is really handy to have in your herb collection because you could use it in a range of spell workings and blessings. If you are wanting to rekindle a love that may have become stale or to bring passion into a romance this is the flower for you. This flower has also been widely known to be able to be used in magic workings to do with being forth good luck and a good chance of fortune. I know witches that use theses flowers in charm bags for this purpose on interviews ect. Now any gardener would know that heather is a water plant and any witch would know that this plant can be used for water and weather magic. This plant is really handy for workings that bring rain and down pours. Another great use for the flower heather is to use it to conjure ghosts and spirits and can be also used with angels if you work with them too. I may use this for my samhain blessing to speak with my ancestors. Last but not least this flower is very powerful for protection workings and adding this flower to a charm bag would bring you protection when ever you carry it. I hope you have found this post useful and you have learnt something new today about how amazing the flower heather really is. As always you can follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly. I post daily about my life away from the blog and I would love to speak to you all. I hope to see you all in the next post and please stay safe everyone. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So I thought I would so a post about the amazing magical properties this leaf has. I always have a good supply of this in my herb collection because its so handy to have. This post will only be a small but sweet post because I haven't had the time to cover everything about this herb. I do plan on doing a more in depth version of this post in the future but for now this will get you interested in doing some research yourself :D It's said if you buried this herb in the corner of the northwest of your property then it would bring you favourable winds to your land. This is also used in many different incenses and magical work invoking divination. This is because its very handy in getting the answers for you and bringing them to light. Many use this to aid them in contacting spirits and also enhancing their psychic connections to the other side. You can also add this herb to oil and dress your candles for spell work when doing spell workings on finding the truth. This is also handy if you are using candles in your divination because it will help boost your chances of getting answers. If your wanting to get guidance from the divine then all you have to do is burn some dried leaves from this plant and hopefully the answers will come to you. I will see you all in the next post. Also please stay safe with this virus going round <3 Blessed be, PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today I am going to be speaking to you all about creating your own magical oils. This will be in a couple parts because I want to give you as much information as I can to help you make the best oils your can within your home. Magical oils are always a great way to enhance your spell crafting and a lot of witches use their own oils daily. As you will know by last months posts is that I have such a big collection of essential oils that I use to create my own blends for my daily life as well as my magical one. The information I will be sharing with you will only be touching the surface and giving you a general over view of each essential oil because I want to encourage you to do your own research into the oils you are drawn to. Today's post will be introducing you to the base oils you will be able to use to create your blends. You need a base oil to water down the oils so its not harmful on your skin. You will also know that I have a good collection of the base oils that I use to create the blends. I don't have all the base oils but got the ones I know I will use. Bare in mind you don't need to get everything at once. Everything I own has been collected over many years of use. Base oils: Apricot kernel oil: This is good for all types of skin. It is very rich and nourishing, Particularly in vitamin A. It has very little scent and absorbs into skin quickly. Avocado oil: Small amounts of this oil are typically added to other carrier oils in order to enrich protein and vitamin content. Coconut oil: This is used to create a barrier on the skin. It is also the preferred oil for high-quality cold process soapers. Grapeseed oil: This is the preferred carrier oil for many massage therapists because of its light, satin like finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily, acne-prone skin. Jojoba oil: This oil is more like liquid wax. It closely resembles the sebum of the skin, and is rich in vitamin E. This promotes a glowing complexion. Rose hip seed oil: This oil is extremely high in essential fatty acids and is known to help treat dry, irritated, weathered skin. It is also suitable for applying to scares and stretch marks. Not for acne-prone skin. Safflower oil: This oil is very popular in massage blends as it its easily absorbed and can be washed from sheets without heavy straining. Also a popular industry choice for moisturising cosmetics. Sesame oil: This oil is rich in vitamins E and B and in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. It is an excellent emollient. When diluted with other carrier oils it is popular for massage. Sweet almond oil : This oil is an excellent emollient and is known for its ability to soften and re-condition the skin. It is rich in proteins and vitamin D and is considered extremely nourishing. Can stain sheets though. Wheatgerm oil: This oil is used for beauty. Simply blend a small amount into the skin or hair. It helps with cracked and scarred skin, giving it an even tone. Its also in hair products because of how well it helps maintain the hair. This oil also can be used to irradiated skin such as dermatitis. I hope this post has helped you understand the base oils a little bit more and that it gives you an idea which ones you would like to get for your magical oil. You can also use vegetable oil which some witches do as its cheaper but then you wouldn't be able to use it as a skin product. As always you can follow me on instgram @paganvibesonly to keep up to date on all this blog and witchy related. I hope you are all keeping safe out there with this virus going about and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So today I will be talking to you all about the importance of carrier oils when blending your own essential oil blends. But first I will talk about the ones I have and why I have each one. My carrier oils: - Wheatgerm oil : I brought this carrier oil because its known to be the best oil for sensitive skin and to help sooth skin rashes like eczema which I get in the summer when my skin is really dry. - Grapeseed oil: I got this in a set and haven't really used this oil as much as others because I am unsure about the uses for this oil compared to others. - Almond oil: This is another great oil for your skin that helps revive and moisturise your skin which is a great use in oils. - Coconut oil: This is the one I use the most because its the most useful one for all types of skin. This helps soothes and moisturise your skin and most people when creating anointing oils or blends you would use this oil. - Vegetable oil: You don't use this for your skin, this would be used if you are just creating a candle dressing as this one isn't as great for your skin as the others which is why I don't normally use this one either. For all blends you need to use some sort of carrier oil because essential oils are in the purest form and can be damaging to your skin but also toxic if you don't use it with a carrier oil. You need to mix some sort of carrier oil in to protect your health and also your skin. It also makes it last longer and you wont be using much of your essential oils either because 80% of the blend will be carrier oils. I would always recommend you do your research before using any carrier oil or essential oil just so you know you and your skin type will be ok to use theses. I hope you do your research into theses a little more and get inspired to use theses within your magical life. I will see you all in the next post and if you wish to follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly you can send me a message and I will always answer. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today is the last of my essential oils posts but I will be doing the essential oil carriers that I use in a post and also the magical uses for each oil in the future so keep an eye out for them in the next couple of weeks. You may be wondering why the same brand has been put in this post too and thats because I got this cute set of three essential oils for just a £1 from my local health store and yes I wasn't going to be leaving them for that price. So the oils are as follows: - Organic Fresh Ginger essential oil - Organic Clove essential oil - Organic Niaouli essential oil Now I have Clove essential oil already but for £1 you really couldn't go wrong and the way I use essential oils it wont last very long too. Now to the last brand I was going to be doing this post about which is the brand Tisserand. Now I brought theses from the same local health shop I did as the ones above and theses were also in the sale for about £2 each so I brought the ones I thought would come in handy and like I said above I have a couple of doubles because for that price you can't go wrong and I could always gift it to a friend who may need it in the future. My oils: - Black Pepper essential oil x2 - Lime essential oil - Orange essential oil - Citronella essential oil So I brought two black pepper essential oils which I haven't found anywhere else that sells it so I was glad I brought both of them. The lime and orange is always good for the cleaning products like I said in the past posts but also for candles like the citronella in the summer they are a god send. I am always on the look out for bargains when it comes to theses and you just can't go wrong for the price. You should always look around for the cheapest but also the most useful for the price. Each brand uses different size bottles which also changes the cost effectiveness of each bottle. So I would always say to look around and see what your buying before hand. I hope you enjoyed todays post and I will see you all in the next one. Don't forget you can follow me on instagram @PaganVibesOnly and I post everyday on there so I am always about if you want to ask any questions. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x |
