Merry meet everyone, So I had to treat myself to a new tarot deck because I just love the artist design on theses cards. These speak to me in such a way that I couldn't leave them when I saw them. Now I got theses with my christmas money from the UK store The Works. These only cost me £6 and theses were the last ones in my local store. My store doesn't normally have theses decks in so when I saw this I got all sorts of giddy. Now like always I will share the blurb with you thats on the box and also go into a little more detail at the end. Blurb: "Uncover the mysteries of the tarot with theses easy to use book and tarot deck from tarot expert Liz Dean. The book includes succinct interpretations for all 78 cards, plus five classic card layouts for performing readings. This gem of a guide also shows a full colour illustration of every exquisitely illustrated card, revealing the rich symbolism inherent in this ancient and ever- popular art. In-depth instructions will ensure you can become a master at tarot reading. Armed with this kit, you will be able to make sense of a complete reading for yourself or a friend and use theses inspiring cards to solve problems, identify opportunities and ultimately divine the future" Now I have been using tarot cards since I was 8-9 years old so I know how to use them so the guide included in this box will probably not be used as much as it would for a beginner but I am always thankful for a little guide for those days when I do get a block when doing my readings. Theses cards are just beautiful, they represent the classic look but in a artistic way which speaks to me. The colours of the cards are pleasing to my eyes and was one of the reasons why I was drawn to them. I have always believed that if your meant to use a set of cards you need to be drawn to their energy first and foremost which is what happened with theses cards. I just couldn't walk out the store without theses and even though I do own such a good collection of tarot decks now this will be my main deck unless I am drawn back to my others. If you find any great witchy items in your local bookstore The Works let us know because I want to do a post about getting information and items on the cheap. Also we should all help each other with our amazing finds! As always you can get in touch or keep up to date on all things blog and witchy related by following me on either Instagram or Facebook under the name @PaganVibesOnly. I will be posting more often on theses platforms about up coming topics for the blog, sneak peeks on what I am working on and great witchy finds I get my hands on. If you want me to do a review on your witchy shop or even know one that I may like send it my way because I am on the hunt to help local witches with small businesses get out there more and also to try out new products. I will hopefully see you all in the next post and please be careful in theses strange times. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x

Merry meet everyone, I have been looking forward to doing this review for awhile because I got this witches planner back in November ready to do the review and also to use this book. Now this is the first ever witches planner that Lisa Chamberlains has created. Now you should all know I love her books because there simple and effective. So when I found out she was bringing out a witches planner you just knew I would have to get my hands on it! So I will share with you the blurb on the back of this witches planner and then go through the inside and why I wanted to get my hands on this planner too. We hope you'll enjoy every day of your journey through 2021 and make it your most magical year yet!" So that was a huge blurb to get through but its what's making me look forward to using this witches planner all year. I will be keeping theses for more my witchy notes ect while my daily planner will keep track of both daily and witch related tasks. This is because this witches planner doesn't have much room for my style of planning but will be really helpful to information and mini notes that I want to keep. I also was thinking of writing in each day what I am grateful for even something as silly as a good cup of tea. This will help me keep positive and also make me keep up to date on my witches planner as well as my daily. I love how much information is inside this witches planner not just little bits but really good information that will help me through out the year. This witches planner cost just £5 which was well worth the price and if this keep me connected to my witchy side while my daily life gets busy or stressful then its well worth the price I paid for it. I got mine from amazon so I am unsure if you can get this any where else but I would recommend getting your hands on this even if your just starting out. As always you can keep up to date by following me on Instagram or Facebook under the name @PaganVibesOnly. I will be posting more often on both platforms to keep you up to date on what I am working on and also topic ideas I would love your import on. As always I will see you all in the next post and please stay safe in theses strange times. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today I am going to be talking about the Botanical inspirations deck that I got in the mystery box unboxing from Wychoils. Now looking at this deck its very vintage themed and I just love it. The flowers are beautifully pictured and just adds to the vibe theses cards give out. Now no were on these cards does it say what type of cards they are but I would like to say they are more likely to be oracle cards than anything else. I did get a information sheet included inside the deck which tells me what each flower represents which is helpful because it would be the blind leading the blind. On the whole theses cards are beautiful but there isn't much information about how to use them, what they can help with ect. Many of the decks I have gotten in the past has been to some degree helpful but theses seems to be a wild one were they want you to figure everything out yourself with the bare minimum of help. Personally for me I wouldn't of brought theses cards myself because there isn't much information that goes along with them. They are beautiful cards but without the helpful information they will just end up being sat in a draw somewhere until I work out how to use them for myself. I may even put them in a frame because the flora pictures are beautiful but that is the only thing going for theses cards at the moment. The is a card that has information about the Illustrator which I will include which may give us some idea about this deck. Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759 - 1840) "Was born to a Flemish family of decorative painters. As a young man he went to Paris, where he began painting the flowers of the royal gardens. His detailed etchings caught the attention of botanists who taught him more about the anatomy of plants and artists who introduced him to a new watercolour technique for illustrating flowers. Marie Antoinette hired Redoute to decorate the walls of her chateau. By the late 1790s Redoute had become the most famous and sought after flower painter in Europe. Empress Josephine invited him to come to chateau de Malmaison to paint the flowers in her magnificent garden, which held over 200 varieties of roses. Between 1817 and 1824 Redoute published a three -volume collection of his rose paintings called Les rose, his most famous publication. Since roses were Dedoute's trademark, we have included four of his rose painting in this botanical inspirations deck." So we know understand the art behind the cards but still not how to understand them but thats ok because we all know that we as witches can use cards to speak to us as we seek advice ect. I do believe if I spend enough time connecting with theses cards I will be able to use them effectively but then again I would of still of liked information about how to use theses cards. What do you all think about not having information with theses cards? You can let me know either on Facebook or Instagram @paganvibesonly. I will be slowing down my blog posts coming up to the Christmas and Yule season but I will still be active on theses platforms so do get in touch. I hope to see you all in the next blog post and please stay safe in theses strange times. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So this past couple of weeks I have been quite busy within my day time job that I haven't really been able to check out my local book shops for all the witchy books. So when I went on my day off that I actually had and found this book all about astrology in the sale for £3 I was over the moon for. I have always wanted to learn more on the astrology side and thought this may be a handy book for me to get started with and with the £3 price tag you really can't go wrong. If you have a local bookshop called 'The Works' then go check it out and see if you can grab this book for the bargain price I did. Now as you should all know by now I always do a basic over view of the books I review before I do a deep dive into them. This is because it may take me awhile to do a full review because of my busy life at the moment. I personally do this also so you don't miss out on the great discounts I get my books at so thats another reason why I do theses sort of posts. As always I will share with you the book blurb word from word and then go a little more in depth after. Blurb: 'The astrology bible is a comprehensive guide to traditional and modern astrology that brings together everything you need to know about the subject, including its meaning, correspondences and how to practise it. If you are a beginner, this book will help you to use astrology to choose the right path in life, understand yourself and others, find love or select a career. If you already have astrological skills, it will deepen and expand your knowledge of zodiac lore. - Use your birth chart to arrive at a better understanding of yourself. - Learn how planetary activity affects behaviour, personality, health and karma. - Gain greater insights into your life and the lives of people around you.' So as you can see this book should be the perfect starting book to get a deepen understanding on astrology which is what I want to do. I also would love to learn more about other aspects of this line of learning because its something that I have never really looked into as much. If you look into the book itself it has covered many topics that you would like to read about such as the zodiac themselves, the elements, planets, aspects and relationship chart. Thats only just touching all the information in this book which seems like I may even lose myself in. I am looking forward to reading more about other star signs and was wondering if you all would like to hear more about the information I do learn about this topic, because if thats the case it gives me a reason to do a more in depth research into this subject and not just because I am curious but because its a great topic for a post. As always you can keep in touch through the community on Facebook or Instagram under the name @PaganVibesOnly. I post as often as I can at the moment on both platforms to bring you updates on the blog, topic ideas and also what I am doing while not blogging to you all. Come join the community today because I have some amazing ideas coming up and I want you to be part of them. As always you can find me in the next post and I hope you are all staying safe in theses strange times. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, I haven't done a first impressions post on a book for awhile with lock-down being active it was hard for me to get any new books to read and review which drove me bonkers because I am the biggest witchy bookworm you will ever meet! That being said my good friend told me that the Works near hers had this super cute moon book in and I decided I would check out my local to see if they had gotten the new book in. This book only cost me £4 and from having a quick look inside seems like its full of some great information about moon magic and how to work with them which I thought for £4 you can't go wrong. If it doesn't speak to me personally after reading a couple of chapters than I would pass it on to a friend. Personally I love getting theses style books because it helps you learn new tips and tricks you wouldn't personally think off. I also find there really good reading material when you have become what I call witchy blocked. For me that means I haven't connected to my craft for awhile and need a good rejig haha. See I don't think I have many moon magic books so this will be so handy for my ever growing collection and I am looking forward to reading this in more depth. I would also like to comment on the look of the book. It stands out as a very moon vibes which is great as it has all the information inside about moon magic that it states anyway. I love how simple the cover is and that the text is foiled blue to go with the theme. This would be a book that catches my eye if I wasn't already looking for this book to begin with and for that it gets brownie points. That being said as always I will share the blurb of this book with you and speak to you all about the book a bit more after. Book Blurb: "Connect with the magic of the moon cycles and live a happier life. Lunar living is the ultimate toolkit for understanding the moon's cycles, the effects they have on us and how working with them can help you live more purposefully. Renowned moon mentor Kirsty Gallagher explains how simple lifestyle changes, based on the moon's phases, can bring about positive life transformation. Lunar living will help you recognise when you should retreat and rest, and when is best to put yourself out in the world, shine and make things happen. Including a guide to the moon in each zodiac sign, moon rituals, affirmations and crystals suggestions, this easy to follow guide will help you: - Feel empowered to make big life decisions. - Understand yourself better. - Tune into your natural cycles. -Improve your sleep, mindset and relationships. -Live with intention." So from that blurb you get the feel that this book will help you connect and understand the moon cycles to the best of your ability which is great if your just starting off but what if you have been working with the moon for a while? I am looking forward to learning new aspects of the moon phases that I personally didn't know and I will have to do another post down the line to tell you how I got on with this book. But like I said before for £4 you really can't go wrong and if you learn even one new thing by getting this book then its worth it in my books. I will be starting to read this now before I go to bed so thank you all for reading this post and always supporting my little corner of the internet. As always you can follow me and keep up to date with all things blog and witchy related away from the posts on instagram @paganvibesonly and same on facebook at paganvibesonly. I hope to see you all in the next post and as always stay safe everyone x Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Now you should all know what this post is going to be about because I mentioned it in last weeks post about the mystery box by The Enchanted Annex. Yes thats right we are now going to be talking about the amazing collection of teas that The Enchanted Annex creates. Now Anna the owner is a herbalist and a very good one too. She can create these amazing teas from her knowledge and honestly if theres a tea that can help you with anything she can probably make it. We got into talking about teas when she was creating the mystery box for me and I was over the moon when she sent me these tea samplers because I love my tea for one but also it gives me a chance to try them all out and tell you all about them. Anna also created me a tea blend for heartburn and to get rid of acid because thats been causing me a lot of problems as of lately and I just can't wait to try this tea blend. Then again I can't wait to try all theses teas. So I am going to list all the tea samples I got bellow and then talk abit about them all. Teas: - Baron Samedi - Quan Yin Tea - Mercury - Hera - Rali Tea - Lilith - Poseidon - Sleep easy tea - Fruity Tea - Hekate - Wake Up Tea - Pan - Ganesha - Aphrodite - Antacid Tea Now you have probably noticed that many of the tea blends are connected to deities and thats because they were created to help connect with those deities, or thats how I see it anyway. All theses teas are blended by hand and made with love too. They all smell amazing and if you follow me on instagram you will also know my cat harry loves the smell of them too. I still haven't tried the teas as of me writing this post but if you follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly you will see when I try theses teas out and what i think of theses too. I personally would recommend you try theses teas out for yourself because everyones tastes are different and we should all support our fellow witches. Now if you really want me to do a more in depth post about theses teas let me know and I will do a mega tasting of all theses fab teas. I hope you support The Enchanted Annex because the owner is amazing and will make any tea you need. I will see you all in the next post and please stay safe. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x https://www.theenchantedannex.co.uk/ Merry meet everyone, I have been meaning to do this post for ages and I am finally getting round to doing so. I got this beautiful goodie box from my fellow witch friend Jemma who owns her own etsy shop which I will link bellow for you all at the end of the post. She has been working hard through lock-down creating theses amazing items to sell on her shop and there amazing. Firstly I will speak a bit about her amazing shop and what she stocks or will be stocking. She has in the pipeline a series of boxes that you can buy and theses boxes have so many wonderful items inside. She calls them kits for different subjects, such as beginner kit or baby witch kit. She has also done the boxes herself which is amazing. She creates items for your altar, sprays, oils even crystals for your collection. Her most popular item that she sold on her instagram account was her smudge sticks which are all handpicked and created within her home. You can really feel the love coming from her products and that just shows you how much she has worked on this business. Now I can't use smudge sticks within my flat as my neighbours complain so she created a smudge spray for those who couldn't use the sticks and this spray she sent me is amazing. I use it all the time cleaning my hall and my front room. I think she should make air fresheners too because this spray smells heavenly! She has also created a dandelion salve that is amazing. It has really soothed my hands which I get eczema on. It smells amazing and its made out of nothing but natural products. She also created a triple moon altar statue or plaque that she did the friendship sigil on for me because shes just amazing and this really cheered me up when I got it. She also created for my kitchen this beautiful pentagram hanger that goes amazing with my green walls. Its items like this that you can expect from her shop and even more when she gets inspired shes always creating amazing items. Overall you need to check her shop out, her shop has been created with her heart and soul in every product and shes only just setting off. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Greenwitch86?ref=usf_2020 Check her shop out and lets help her shop grow. Please bare in mind I have done this post to help a friend out and I am not being paid to do this. Her products speaks for themselves and they are amazing. I hope to see you all in the next post and if you want to keep updated outside of this blog then follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly. Hope your all staying safe. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today's post is going to be a little review on the starseed oracle deck. Now I got this free for subscribing to the Soul and Spirit magazine. I love the magazine and always find it a good read which just made it a bonus when I got theses for free to signing up to get the magazine delivered. I have looked through the cards and they are beautiful and very fantasy dream like images. The blurb on the box states: "Have you always had a longing for home without really knowing what that meant? If so, you could be a starseed soul. This activating oracle will help you to unlock your soul gifts, connect with your cosmic origins and remember who you truly are. Activate your cosmic energy, come home to your soul." Now going of what the blurb states it shows it works with the cosmic energy around yourself to give you the answers you are looking for. Or thats what vibe I get from theses. In this kit there is also a guide book included which also has its own blurb which states: "Have you always had a longing for home, without knowing where home was? Or a sense of knowing deep in your soul? If so, you may be a starseed soul, someone who has incarnated elsewhere in the cosmos before your time on earth. Within this guidebook, you'll find instructions for attuning to your starseed oracle cards and using them to connect to your own inner guidance and your true cosmic nature. Each card interpretation in this guidebook comes with a starseed call to action to help you unlock your souls gifts, connect to your soul mission, uncover your star origins and remember who you came here to be." Now that gives you more information than the box itself which is kinda funny as you wouldn't read the book blurb before the box blurb because its all wrapped in plastic wrap, but they may have done that for a reason. The creators of this deck is Rebecca Campbell and Danielle Noel which you learn a bit about them on the back of the guide book too. The cards are just breath taking with the art work on each card showing something mystic and dream like they are a work of art themselves. This deck has 53 cards all beautifully designed and the book that comes with this deck is full of information on how to connect with theses cards and also what the card meanings are. I am looking forward to using theses cards and connecting with them within my divination journal. I will most likely share some of the card pulls on my instagram account @paganvibesonly if you wish to come follow me. I do post daily or try to about everything outside of this blog that is witchy. I hope to see you there. I hope you check out this deck yourself and let me know how you feel about it. I hope you enjoyed today's post and I will see you all in the next one. Stay safe everyone. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So I bring to you another first impressions book review for today's post. Its another Celtic book of magic. I was recommend this book by a friend of mine as she knew I was looking for as much information about Celtic magic as possible and she even said this book really helped her understand it more. So I brought this book of Amazon and here we are. I will be sharing with you the huge blurb that this book has and then will be talking a bit more about the book. Blurb: "Celtic plant magic is the first working guide to the creation and application of plant based compounds for ritual, magical, and healing purposes based on the Druidic tradition. The ancient rites and lore of the Druids have always utilised a gentle alchemy to convert plant essences into potent compounds for working magical rituals. Through the respectful seduction of a plant's virtue, Druid alchemists are able to realise and collect the latent energy and magical capacities of that plant. The Druid then applies a series of processes to the acquired essence in order to maximise its power prior to its application in magical ritual. In this practical guide to the principles, processes, and hands on application of Druidic plant magic. Jon G Hughes shares the combined wisdom of his ancestral lineage. Celtic plant magic includes basic alchemical theory, instructions for creating all necessary tools, descriptions of magical compounds and their uses and how to prepare oneself for working with plant essences. The healing and magical properties of more than seventy plants and trees are provided. The author then applies this information to a Celtic sex ritual, demonstrating how theses compounds are used in specific magic and ritual practices. Celtic plant magic is a valuable manual for anyone wishing to harness the magical potential of plant energy. Jon G Hushes, author of Celtic sex magic, is part of a lineage of Druids that has been practising for five generations in a remote area of wales. He is now teaching the tradition at his home in western Ireland and gives workshops and seminars throughout Europe under his welsh name of Cynon. He is the director of the Irish centre of Druidic Practices". So that blurb was a mouthful and a half and while I was typing it I felt like I was back in high school doing science GCSE. This book is very much like a study guide for magic instead of science and while reading and typing the blurb out I had this strong connection to the book like I am meant to read it or something. I am really looking forward to reading this book and I do find looking through the book that its very school like in its teaching. Its a thick book jam packed with information and I really can't wait to start reading it. I hope you check out this book for yourself as it does seem like a great book to study and to learn from. If you are any Celtic books you want me to check out or that you recommend message me on instagram @paganvibesonly. I am always posting on there about my life away from the blog but full of witchy wonders and I am always just a click away for a good chat. I hope you enjoyed today's post and I will see you all in the next one. Stay safe and blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So today is another first impressions book review. I have had a pile of books that I have been meaning to do theses reviews on for awhile and with the lock down being put in place it has given me the time to get through them all. I am really enjoying being able to get through my blog post list of things I want to get done too. Anyway back to the book a hand shall we. This book is called inner magic and I got this book in the January sales for £2 in a local book shop. Thats how long its been on my pile of books to be reviewed on. As always I will share the blurb with you and why I got this book in the first place. Blurb: "Inner magic is an illustrative and informative approach to contemporary witchcraft and the practices of magic. Placed in a historical and cultural context, there are explanations of the principles of witchcraft, the with in history and the rise of the modern witch. This book also shows you how to come a witch, what a witch is , how to cast spells and how to find your inner magic. Inner magic fixes the source of magical power firmly in the world around us, and shows us beneficial ways of using magic to enhance our spiritual selves. By weaving magic into our everyday lives in a more conscious and active way, this book offers readers the opportunity to discover their own spiritual path and magical potential". So the first thing about this book is its not a book I would normally get myself, I only got this book because it was £2 and I thought it may be a good read. From having a good little look inside its very text based which is great if you love reading information books with no pictures. I feel like this book is like a study book more than a book you would read for pleasure. I still haven't read through this book yet but with this lock-down being in place I may as well start reading it and see if it was worth the £2 spent on it. I will let you all know how I get on with this book in the future. As always you can follow me on instagram to keep updated on all things witchy and blog related @paganvibesonly and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be and stay safe x PaganVibesOnly x |
