Merry meet everyone, So I have decided to talk to you all about my fitness journey and my diet. Back in April I decided to join slimming world. Now I have had good days and bad days but thats just life at the end of the day. I have been aiming to lose weight since January this year after my Doctors appointment which I spoke about in a past post. I joined slimming world at the end of April to start on the 1st of May 2020. By June I had already lost over a stone of weight which is amazing. I wont speak about how much I have lost so far as I want to do another post at the end of September as a progress point. Anyway back in June I decided to get myself a happy planner fitness edition. This meant that I could track my weeks and what I am eating ect and see what worked that week and what didn't. I have also been doing monthly challenges to encourage me to get out there and do the fitness I set out to do. I have also become a lover of yoga which I have been doing for awhile which again I will probably do a update post to let you know how that has helped me. I thought I should do this post because I found it really helpful to track everything I wanted to keep an eye on. This meant that I could go back and see what I started at and what I will finish at, at the end of the year. I know my diet and fitness journey will take longer than a year and because of that I will see if I can get another fitness planner next year. I love being able to go back and see how far I have come. I never thought I would be able to stay on a diet and get to my active self ever again. I use to be very active when I was younger but life happened and my mental health caused me to put a lot of weight on and for that for me created a big wall between me and my active self. I am still not at that place were I could go to a gym yet but I will get there and I will be better for it. I still have my witches planner for my daily life ect. I still do all my planner love bits but I never thought I would have a fitness planner just to track my journey. I got inspired by a youtuber and it really have helped me become more active within my journey which has helped a lot. So I have decided I will be doing a post like this every now and then to keep you guys updated and also inspired. It doesn't take much to change your lifestyle and slimming world has helped me a lot.
