Merry meet everyone, Today's post is all about the useful herb of wormwood. You may have also heard about this herb under another name such as absinthe, green ginger, old woman and madder-wort. This herb is connected with the element of fire. This herb has many magical uses: - Psychic powers - Cleansing magical tools - Calling spirits - Psychic protection - Love The herb wormwood is normally used to increase psychic power, which is why its used for scrying and divination to aid our 'inner sight'. Due to its bitter taste it is often used to make a magical wash for cleansing magical objects that are suitable for washing as you wouldn't wish to eat this. It has been known that you can burn the herb at samhain to enable you to make contact with loved ones who have passed to the other side. You can also use this herb to make charm bags and hang them from the rear view mirror of the car to give you protection against road rage and accidents. This wont completely stop accidents if there meant to be but they can help protect you from them. You may also sprinkle this herb in the path of an enemy to bring them strife and misfortune but this is only a last resort and be mindful what ever you put out will come back in the form of karma. You may also use theses in spells that focus on love and protection from the evil eye. I hope you find this post useful and helpful for your future magical knowledge and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly xx Merry meet everyone, Today's post is another essential oil collection post but this time I have two brands to talk to you about with small collections of each. I am always looking for new brands to try out and the price of essential oils differ depending on the brands to which means if you don't have much money you will look for the cheaper option for that scent, thats why I have so many different brands too. The first brand is one I can buy locally from a health store that have such a huge range of essential oils all difference prices that its like heaven. This store doesn't do any offers on their essential oils though so I only go there for essential oils I wont be able to get else where which is why I only have 3 of this brand. My Amphora oils: -Grapefruit essential oil - Vetivert essential oil - Frankincense essential oil As you can see from the oils above its all oils that I wouldn't be able to get from any old store and thats why I was willing to spend a little bit more for theses oils because I use theses oils a lot with magical workings and also for blends for sleeping and anxiety. These oils I had to look everywhere for before ending up going to this health store because I knew this health store would be my last option. The second brand I will be talking about today is another local health store but this one you will be able to find all over the UK because its a big company where as the one above is only local to me. Which is why they don't do many offers on their products and they know they can get away with it. This health store is really handy because they always have a good collection of essential oils for cleaning ect. They always have some sort of deal and they reduce oils down also which is why I always go to this place first for my oils. My Miaroma oils: - Lavender essential oil - Bergamot essential oil - Tangerine essential oil - Sweet orange essential oil I did have more but I need to stock up on theses because I have ran out and got rid of the bottles just before christmas last year and haven't had a chance to go stock up what I need. As you can see from above its all essential oils that you can use for cleaning. Sweet orange and tangerine are great essential oils for making a bin cleaner because it makes your bin smells heavenly even with rubbish in which is always a bonus. I also use theses oils in a tile cleaner I make because it brings up my tiles amazing. The lavender is always a good go to because you can spray that around your home to get rid of moths naturally and also if you water the lavender down and the rub it into your cats neck it will get rid of flea without harming either animal. I haven't needed to do this for ages thank god because my cats are in door cats and gets bathed and brush often. (One if a long hair cat that needs baths often) I hope you enjoyed this post and that you found it useful to you. I would highly recommend the Miaroma oils brand because they are so effective and cheaper than any others I have found so far. If you want to go eco friendly and do your own home cleaning then the sweet orange is your go to for that one. I will see you all in the next post and don't forget you can follow me on instagram @PaganVibesOnly. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today's post is a continue of my magical oils but this time is all mixed oils that I don't have many off the have they own posts. Like my last post I had 13 Freya's cauldron oils so I could have them as an stand alone post but with theses oils I have four from one box and two from another so I thought I may as well add them both together. My four magical oils from crafting magic: - Mugwort oil - Purification oil x2 - Altar oil Now with theses I got theses in my pagan parcel boxes two years ago now I think. This was when I wasn't very into anointing oils and didnt really use them but they were handy for some things. I now add theses to candle work and other aspects of my magical workings. The altar oil its really good to boost workings when you want that added boost. I use this when I change my altars around for the sabbats. I also use this to clean my altar items and boost their energy when needed. The purification oil is handy to cleanse your home, So you can add this to any candles your burning in your home and it will cleanse the negative energy away. Its handy to have and its one that I personally keep forgetting I have! I will have to make sure I use it when I next need to cleanse my home :D The next two oils I got in the witches heart boxes last year and they are amazing: - High altar oil - Mabon oil The high altar oil is to boost the attraction of spirit work and encourage positive spirits to come to your magical space. This is great when your doing divination work and also great for the sabbats where the veil is at the thinnest. I have also used this oil to anoint my divination tools to help boost the energy and help me connect to the other side when needed advice. This oil is such a great go to for my collection to be honest. The other oil is for the sabbat mabon. I personally didn't use it around Mabon because work took over and didn't get a chance to use it but it smells amazing and I am hoping to find a use for it this time around. I hope you look into your own collection of magical oils and find time to use them because you be surprised how useful they can all be. I hope this post has encouraged you to look into magical oils more and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, So this month is basically talking about oils it seems. So I have decided to go through my essential oil collection and share with you all what brands I use and what oils I use to. I have a huge collection of essential oils because I use them a lot within my household either for making homemade cleaners or just a blend to help with my anxiety. I have so many different blends I could share with you that I personally use a lot that has helped me. But that may be in the future. Anyway I am going to start with a list of all the essential oils i have with the brand Naissance and then talk about the uses ect for each one. This may end up going into a couple posts because I do have that many of them. My oils: - Rosemary essential oil, - Geranium, Rose essential oil, - Ylang Ylang essential oil, - Eucalyptus, Blue gum essential oil, - Lavender, True essential oil - Lemongrass essential oil - Peppermint essential oil - Clary sage essential oil, - Tea Tree essential oil, - Chamomile, Roman essential oil. These essential oils where the first brand that I brought myself. I got into aromatherapy when I moved into my home and I wanted to go the natural root for house cleaners ect. When I first got into aromatherapy it was mind blowing how useful theses oils could be and then when I found out they could be used within my magical practice to, there just was no way I was not going to end up with a good collection. There is so many different oils out there that have magical uses to each but you can also blend them all together which works out amazing when your trying to create a blend for like I stated before my anxiety and depression. I have a roller ball bottle with a blend that I have created with a carrier oil to help boost my positive thinking and also to help calm me down when I do have panic attacks. This really helped me when I was being sent to cover another store all last year because my anxiety was so bad but I couldn't not go and cover so I had to find a way around it. My favourite essential oil from this brand is the lemongrass because it smells heavenly and lasts such a long time. I also love their tea tree but tea tree is such a great essential oil anyway that any brand you get would work. I will most likely end up doing a couple posts about the magical uses of essential oils because they are such a great source for your magical practice but also you can make your own anointing oils if you know what to blend for the purpose you wish to create. I have made a note of all the essential oils I have but also of other oils you may wish to use for when I do create this post you will have a good body of information. I hope you enjoyed this post and that you found it interesting. I will be doing two more posts of other brands of essential oils and talking about that type of brands in the next couple of weeks. I do hope you keep an eye out for this months posts because there will be some really useful tips and tricks. I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today I will be going through all my magical oils from the Freya's Cauldron boxes that I have collected over the past year or so. This wont be as in depth as I have been in the past with the oils because all the information about each oil is included in the unboxing posts. I just wanted to share the oils that I have collected and also what I love about each one ect. There will also be another magical oils post with all my none Freya's Cauldron oils because I have quite a few different oils but the biggest brand is this one which 13 magical oils I have collected up to this date. I may also be doing an order of more in the future because she does have some amazing offers on her website for this oils. Anyway lets get into the oils as this may end up being a long post other wise. Firstly I will make a list of all the oils I have so far of her brand, I have counted 13 oils up to now but that will only grow with each box. Oils: - Turmeric (Candle dressing oil) - Full moon oil (Candle dressing oil) - New Beginnings (Candle dressing oil) - Chamomile (Candle dressing oil) - Cedarwood (Candle dressing oil) - May Chang ( Candle dressing oil) - Protection (Candle dressing oil) - Ho wood (Candle dressing oil ) - Lemon Oil (Candle dressing oil) - Abundance ( Candle dressing oil) - Wisdom of the elders (Candle dressing oil) - Harvest oil (Candle dressing oil) - Cajuput (Candle dressing oil) Now thats all my Freya's Cauldron oils I have so far, I have made a note that they are candle dressing oils next to each oil even though you can use them for other magical uses you do have to be careful about your skin. If you wish to anoint yourself with theses you should add a bit more carrier oil to the mixture. I normally mix a bit into a different bottle so I know which I can use on skin and which I can not. Also looking at my collection there is a load of oils that I haven't even used yet which shocks me. I will have to go back into my old boxes information sheets to get what the uses are for each oil and make a note about each one for future knowledge because I have used a lot of the protection oil and the abundance oil because they are really handy to have. I have also used the full moon oil and new beginnings and even the chamomile. But the oils like wisdom of the elders and may chang I can't remember what they can be used for which means I need to go back and look into them a bit more. I personally use theses magical oils for candle work but sometimes you can add them to charm magic and also to anoint yourself if you add more carrier oil to them. I have seen some even use theses in bath magic so they are really handy to have in your collection and they give you an added boost when casting your blessing or spell work. I never really had a use for anointing oils before because I didn't personally understand the use of them but now I just love them to bits. I am always adding them to my spell work and the difference they make is amazing. I would recommend you try using them even if you just get the basic ones like protection because you will use that a lot. I hope you found this post useful and I may of waffled on a bit on this one but I wanted to share my collection with you all. I may do other posts on theses oils because I would love to do 5 useful tips for each oil but I need some free time to do that so may be a future post. If you want to keep up to date with all things to do with this blog and to do with myself you can follow me on instagram @PaganVibesOnly and if you wish to chat send me a message and I am always happy to answer questions to. As always I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Merry meet everyone, Today's post is all about the herb agrimony or also known as Tea plant.
