Merry meet everyone, So today I will be talking to you all about the importance of carrier oils when blending your own essential oil blends. But first I will talk about the ones I have and why I have each one. My carrier oils: - Wheatgerm oil : I brought this carrier oil because its known to be the best oil for sensitive skin and to help sooth skin rashes like eczema which I get in the summer when my skin is really dry. - Grapeseed oil: I got this in a set and haven't really used this oil as much as others because I am unsure about the uses for this oil compared to others. - Almond oil: This is another great oil for your skin that helps revive and moisturise your skin which is a great use in oils. - Coconut oil: This is the one I use the most because its the most useful one for all types of skin. This helps soothes and moisturise your skin and most people when creating anointing oils or blends you would use this oil. - Vegetable oil: You don't use this for your skin, this would be used if you are just creating a candle dressing as this one isn't as great for your skin as the others which is why I don't normally use this one either. For all blends you need to use some sort of carrier oil because essential oils are in the purest form and can be damaging to your skin but also toxic if you don't use it with a carrier oil. You need to mix some sort of carrier oil in to protect your health and also your skin. It also makes it last longer and you wont be using much of your essential oils either because 80% of the blend will be carrier oils. I would always recommend you do your research before using any carrier oil or essential oil just so you know you and your skin type will be ok to use theses. I hope you do your research into theses a little more and get inspired to use theses within your magical life. I will see you all in the next post and if you wish to follow me on instagram @paganvibesonly you can send me a message and I will always answer. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Comments are closed.
