Merry meet everyone, Today's post is a little shorter than most because I wanted to share with you all my home made soothing love bath salts mix. Now I personally don't have a bath but a shower so if you wanted to use this get yourself a fabric bag that you can have over your shower head but it would let out all the goodness and the water through. Thats a great tip to use cleansing bath salts with a shower too. I make bath salts a lot for my brother because he is always needing some sort of relaxing way after the day of work he normally has. This one was an experiment of sorts because he wanted me to use lavender still because it helps relax his mussels ect, but he wanted something a little different. I had just brought some rose petals for another project that I had in the works but thought it was a great addition to this bath salt mix to help him relax and feel the love. I first used my mortar and pastel to grind the lavender down. I did this because the last couple of bath salts I have made my brother has just been mixtures and the herbs stay and cover the bath which drives my nan crazy as she has to clean the bath after my brother uses it. So I thought if I grind the herbs down it will still have the best effect but also will go down the drain without blocking ect. So far this method has worked really well and has gone down with a treat too. I then grind the rose petals. This doesn't really do much but it helps to break up the bigger petals and when I add both herbs together it will mix a little better. I then add both herbs and the salts into the mortar and pastel and mix them all together. This makes the scent of the herbs to mix with the salts and blends them perfectly for use straight away. The salts I use can change depending on what I have in my kit at the time. I use Epson salts, Himalayan salts and salt mixtures which I buy in bulk just because I make bath salt blends a lot for my brother. I hope you try this blend and it works wonders for you as it does for my brother. Please let me know in the comments bellow if you have tried this blend and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x MissDoomie Comments are closed.
