Merry meet everyone, So today I thought I would do my last #Paganborn post that I did on another community. The theme for this post was Greek gods and goddesses which is what inspired me to do this post. As many of you will know I am a follower of mother earth and in each religion she is known as something different. This weeks post will be about Gaia the Greek version of mother earth and the most common version of her as well. Gaia is well known as the first Greek goddess, which makes sense as shes mother earth. She created herself out of primordial chaos. From Gaia's fertile womb all life came to be. All living things return to mother earth after their life span to be reconnected with our mother creator. As mother earth, Gaia controls the weather and the ecosystem, shes basically the boss off our world we call earth. She's always trying to keep balance and harmony within earth. She heals the environment, nurturing and supporting all life within her world, our earth. Without mother earth we wouldn't have our homes, we wouldn't have the food we eat or the water we drink, we wouldn't have the air we breath. We can't live without her care. It's why I get so upset when people don't respect her, when people mistreat our earth. I always think that the bad weather is mother earth fighting back, showing us that shes displeased by our behaviour to our home, after all she will never turn her backs on us no matter how upset she gets but I see many turn their backs on her. Overall, mother earth is amazing. She created the world we live on and controls the way we live. She makes sure the birds sing in the morning and the earth regrow each spring. She controls the weather and makes sure that we live in harmony. Lately though she has had to work a lot harder because of what we as humans have done to her. She can't rest because without her we wouldn't be able to continue to live the way we do on earth. Shes an amazing goddess and one that should have the respect from all. Shes our mother and we need to help look after her as she looks after us. I hope you enjoyed today's post and I will see you in the next post. Blessed be x MissDoomie x Comments are closed.
