Merry meet everyone, Today I will be talking to you all about my Ostara plan for the following sabbat. As you may know Ostara is not that far away and with my witches planner it comes with sabbat plan inserts which I personally love to bits. So the first sabbat I did with theses inserts was Imbolc which I did say I was going to post but it came to the point where I wasn't going to fit it in with the rest of the posts I had already planned. So this time I made a point to plan this type of post so I could show you how amazing this insert is and also what I did to use it and plan. So First of all I used a hobonichi kit from CraftyPlanning called fruity florals. I really love this kit because not only did I already have this in my collection (I have many planner kits) But I also felt it fit the sabbat really well. The link to the kit I have used is here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/686463264/hobonichi-weeks-kitfruity?ref=shop_home_active_5&sca=1 If you want to save 15% off on your order from CraftyPlanning you can use my code: cpsbethany. So the first box in the insert is all about ritual plan and what you want to do to celebrate the sabbat, or thats how I use it anyway. So as you can see I have made six bullet points of ideas and things I would like to do to celebrate the sabbat if I am not in work, or if I am then to do it a day near the sabbat. These bullet points include: - Have some hot cross buns for breakfast. This is because it is the hot cross bun season and its connected to Ostara which is a great way to connect to it yourself. I will also be planning on having my morning cup of tea with honey as honey is a food connected to the sabbat too. - Bless the garden patch in front of my flat. Now I don't have a garden because I live in a flat but theres this beautiful garden patch in front of my big window where there will be plants I can bless and show mother earth my thanks. - Wear the colours green, blue or pink. Now theses are the colours of the sabbat which means if you just wear the colours it would bring you closer to the sabbat and you can do this without anyone knowing too if your in the closet. -Do some witchy spring cleaning. Now spring cleaning is such a great thing around this time of year and knowing this I thought it would be a great time to do some witchy spring cleaning myself and to sort out my herbs ect. - Do my Ostara blessing. Now every year I do a blessing for this sabbat which is personal to me so I wont get into much detail but it always based on thanking the mother earth for coming back to us. - Fertility spell. Now this one is very personal to me so I wont go into more detail or to say whom it is for but this time of year is perfect for theses kinds of spell work. The next two boxes in the insert is all about the altar and then other notes you wish to jot down. So my plan for my altar is to have my Ostara plaque that I got from Freya's cauldron on the wall behind my altar. I will be using my blue altar cloth unless I get a chance to buy a green one before hand then it will be green. I want fresh spring flowers on my altar to represent the new growth of spring and I will be having my crystals that connect with the sabbat such as my rose quartz and amethyst clusters which I have in my collection. I will also be burning lemon grass incense through out the day and the colour of candles I will have on my altar will be yellow, green and pink which are colours of this sabbat. In my notes section is all about other crystals I can use, the oils that I may want to anoint my candles with and the foods I can plan my meals with that day that connect with the sabbat. This is only a plan for what I would like to do for the Ostara sabbat and things may change depending on when I put it all together but this is normally what I do anyway. I hope you have all planned your sabbat and have things all sorted for the following weeks to come. If you wish to see my Ostara altar you should follow me on instagram @PaganVibesOnly to keep updated on all things me and blog. I am always there connecting to people so why haven't you followed yet? I hope this has inspired you for your own sabbat celebrations and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x PaganVibesOnly x Comments are closed.
