Merry meet everyone, So as you may all know by following my blog either on here or my instagram you will all know that I am a strong lover of a good cup of tea! It may just be because I am British or it may be because I was brought up having tea parties with my Nan's tea sets. Yes this was a start of my ever growing love for teapots, teacup sets and tea! Now personally I only found loose leaf tea when I moved out on my own. I brought loose leaf earl grey instead of tea bags. Now this was a rushed shop and looking back it was the best thing I ever did. I brought myself a tea strainer, (Well many different tea strainers, theres soo many cute ones!) and that is where my love of loose leaf tea begun. I find it has such a better taste then the tea bags. I did my research and tea bags are normally the drags stuffed in bags. Theres less waste with loose leaf tea because you can compost this. Yes you can compost tea bags but theses break down slower. There are many different sellers that sell loose leaf tea over tea bags because its such a better product. Not only does it taste better but its a way of life in some strange way. If I wanted a cup of tea, I now brew a teapot which has a strainer inside full of tea and carry it with me to where I am either sitting or working. It's the amazing feeling of pouring your own tea with a teapot. You just don't understand the feeling without doing it yourself. This is where my real British bit comes out. Not only do I start my morning with a cup of tea in my pot of tea, I start it with crumpets. Normally this is on my days off or my boyfriend hasn't eaten them all on me. Anyway that was a long way tell you my love of loose leaf tea! I was thinking about when I first started really getting into loose leaf, and I remember that I had a hard time finding teas that I really liked. As you know loose leaf can be quite expensive. Without trying them you don't really know which ones are good and which are poo. So I thought I would share my top 5 places where I personally get my teas from. TOP 5 PLACES TO GET LOOSE LEAF TEA: - Tamed wild! I get a lot of my teas from tamed wild. Normally from the USA shop but now they are an UK store which is easier for me to get from. My go to is always the cold + flu tea and their Moroccan mint tea. These are amazing because there handy to have in my stash. I drink the cold and flu tea when I feel a bit down in the dumps, and when I know I am getting a cold because it helps kick it in the bum. I also drink the Moroccan mint tea when I get heart burn or when I feel iffy because it sorts it out and helps me cope. Yes I am strange but tamed wild do other amazing teas that you should check on. http://bit.ly/31zARQE - English tea shop! I always get their fair-trade Earl Grey tea from here because they are amazing. It comes in a tin which is handy to have and you can recycle it! The tea is strong for me but also great because it lasts awhile. I think my last tin lasted 3 months and that was me drinking it a lot. Because I don't need much loose leaf to get the taste. https://www.amazon.co.uk/English-Tea-Shop-Organic-Fairtrade/dp/B0081ZHOZU/ref=sr_1_13?crid=1LFNLW0PN2EJR&keywords=earl+grey+tea+loose+leaf&qid=1571769273&sprefix=earl+grey+t%2Caps%2C149&sr=8-13 - Marks and Spencer! They do a small range of loose leaf tea in my local store and they are such a great Earl grey tea. I love getting this when I can't get the one above online. Their bags are only £1.80 and I had to buy a glass jar to store it because the bag it comes in rips so easily that when I first brought them I nearly wore the whole bag of loose leaf tea! - Brewing leaf! Now I found this one just within this year and they are such a great selection of loose leaf teas. I have only tried a couple of theses but they are amazing. You get a free sample with every order too to find a new tea to love. My go to is their Earl Grey Rose. (See a pattern I love my Earl grey!) https://brewingleaf.co.uk/shop?olsPage=products%2Fearl-grey-rose&page=2 - Leaf Tea! Now they have a store in Liverpool where I go in and grab some tea packers every now and then when I go there. But they do have a online shop where you can grab teas. My favourite is again their Lavender Grey which is beautiful. But you can get everything from them as they love loose leaf teas as much as I do! https://leafteashop.co.uk/product/lavender-grey/ So there it is my five top places so far to get my loose leaf teas. I hope this helps you find your love of loose leaf teas and find one that you can't live without. I will do an updated one of theses posts if I do find any other shops that sell great loose leaf because I am always on the hunt and I always love trying new teas. I hope this helps you and I will see you all in the next post. Blessed be x MissDoomie x Comments are closed.
