Merry meet everyone, Today's post is a bit of a haul and a review mixed in one. I have been looking at theses two books for a while and with my local bookstore being the works and books there are really cheap as you can see from the image, I couldn't really say no. The first book I brought was the house witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock. I own another of their books which is the green witch book. This book was only £3 at the works bookstore so it was a good bargain. As I have started to do I will share the blurb with you all so you get a feel about this book and see why I had to get it. book 1 Blurb: 'Home is a place of refuge, renewal, and creativity, where you begin and end each day. It is also trhe primary root of your energy and spirituality. The house witch works to honour and strengthen that sacred space, making it as simple, peaceful, and nourishing as possible. She explores and uses the magic of the home. While other spiritual paths often look beyond the home to focus on the natural world, the house witch creates a solid and supportive place to work from - a literal home base. In the house witch you'll explore the energies of hearth and home and learn how you can create a spiritual haven for yourself and your loved ones in today's busy world. This guide also contains ritual suggestions, recipes for sacred foods, directions for missing bl;ends and potions, and more. Where you find shelter and nourishment is an important part of who you are. Embrace the world of the house witch and discover what the power of the home has in store for you.' As you can see from the blurb is all about balance and creating a positive home where you can relax and build your energy up from your busy life. Its something that has me drawn to and I really can't wait to start reading this. The second book I brought was the good spell book. This one also was £3 and had drawn me in as it was a simple but effective book to have in my collection. Book two blurb: 'Bring the power of magic into your everyday with theses fun and easy to use spells, charms, potions and more. Using common household ingredients, The good spell book provides answers to the problems we all face in our day to day lives; from winning a job and alleviating illness to abstracting the one you love. Whether your a complete beginner, advanced spell caster or simple curious, theses spells will increases your self worth and empower you to lead a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.' This one is something that I will probably only go to when needed but for £3 I couldn't go wrong and it is a handy book to have in my collection when needed. I also brought myself a fabric dolly. This only cost me £1.50. I saw a youtuber use one of theses as a poppet for personal use and I thought it was such a great idea to have in my kit. I am still learning about poppets but when I am ready this little dolly with be there ready to be used. I hope you enjoyed todays post and I will see you all in the next one.
