Merry meet everyone, So today I am doing another first impressions review on this 2020 witches companion book. Now I have brought the 2018 version of this book which I really enjoyed in some areas and others kinda dragged on a bit. I am hoping this years book is going to be better but then again there will be something inside this book for every witch out there. As always I will share the blurb with you so you know what this book contains. "Fresh ideas for modern witches and pagans! Discover a collection of magical perspectives designed to help you live your craft in the contemporary world. With hands-on practices as well as provocative insights, this book is all about confronting challenges and moving forward on your spiritual path. Llewellyn's 2020 witches companion includes more than two dozen articles including: - Holistic sleep magic - Cannabis and meditation - Transforming trauma - Designing interfaith rituals - Ethical love spells - Magical stress tamers - Dealing with depression - Pagan prayer beads This year's edition includes spells, rituals, ideas, and advice articles from many of today's most innovative witches and pagans: Tess Whitehurt, Najah Lightfoor, Kerrie Connor, Elizabeth Barrette, Deborah Lipp, Melanie Marquis, Black Octavian Blair, Michael Furie, Emyme, Susan Pesznecker and Ember Grant. Also Includes a sizteen month calender and lunar information for spellwork and rituals." So there you have it, after reading the blurb you get some idea what this book contains and why I may be interested in it. I love reading about different view points on the craft and theses are all written by different witches and pagans which are listed above. The magical stress tamers seems really handy for me and the holistic sleep magic will come in handy. There is so much more inside this book that I haven't even tapped into yet which I am looking forward to reading. I will share bits with you all from this book in the future if theres anything I would think is helpful to you all. But check this book out for yourself and build upon your book collection. Have you already got this book? Let me know either in the comments bellow or on my instagram account @Paganvibesonly!
